DofE Introduction at Magilligan

The ACFA and Northern Ireland Training Networks combined to provide an Introduction to the DofE course for the two NI ACF Battalions at Magilligan.

Leaders from all parts of the far flung Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders area answered the call by Major John Brown to attend for essential Introduction to the DofE training.

DofE Leadership Certificate at Frimley

Sixteen DofE leaders from all parts of the UK gathered at CTC to complete their Teamwork and Leadership Skills and Managing a DofE Group modules as part of their Certificate in DofE Leadership.

New Advanced Course - Managing DofE Leaders

ACF and ATC DofE leaders have cooperated to produce an advanced course designed to support County / Battalion / Squadron DofE Officers and Regional Advisors to manage the volunteer DofE leaders in their units. Course number 1 was held at CTC Frimley Park,with an ATC follow-up scheduled for next month.

Introduction to the DofE in North Wales

A busy weekend of DofE Leadership training saw 28 new leaders trained at Bethesda and Kinmel cadet centres, with three new tutors gaining valuable experience for future courses.

Dorset ACF get Introduction to the DofE

A keen group of leaders from Dorset ACF gained valuable training in the Introduction to the DofE during an intensive course at the County HQ at Dorchester.

Flag a Munro for the Commonwealth Games

Munros

From April to June 2014 DofE participants and supporters will be invited to ‘Flag a Munro’ to celebrate the Commonwealth Games. To get involved,just get permission from your County HQ, sign up your team, pick a Munro, climb it with the DofE flag provided and take a picture with it at the summit. The pictures will be collected into a collage of the event.
