- London's buzzing!

Congratulations to City of London NE Sector for hosting another Introduction to the DofE course, hard on the heels of the recent one at Blackheath. Huge thanks to Lt Col (Retd) Ed Sandham and Capt Martin Peterson for again making the long journey to direct the IttDofE and the DofE Leadership Certificate courses respectively, and to Lt Richard Walton for an excellent staff job.

- More Leaders trained in Northern Ireland

Thirty three ACF leaders from the two Battalions gained quality DofE training at Magilligan with the support of very experienced Northern Ireland, ATC and ACFA training staff.

DofE Advisors Martin Peterson and Alan Thompson delivered an Introduction to the DofE to leaders from Lancashire ACF, where they were able to work with the revised (7th Edition) Leaders Handbook.

A successful Introduction to the DofE course was held in Swansea for CFAV and senior cadets of Dyfed and Glamorgan ACF, delivered by Lt Col Rtd Ed Sandham and Advisor for ACFA Wales Major Robin Jones.

- Leadership Training Bonanza in London

Recently appointed Advisor for London and South East Anglia, Lt Col Clinton Riley, thanked South East London Sector for hosting an Introduction to the DofE course, a Leadership Certificate course and an Expedition Assessor Accreditation Scheme course, with the support of Course Directors Capt Martin Peterson and Lt Col (Rtd) Ed Sandham and their staff.

An excellent example of tri-service co-operation with Army, Air and Sea Cadet leaders coming together at Driffield to share training in the skills of supervising DofE expeditions. Many thanks to Humberside and South Yorkshire ACF and to the experienced DS on the course.

Leaders from six different ACF Counties were guided through the skills and techniques of expedition assessing at Reading by the incomparable Capt Amerjit Gill, who has given freely of his time on numerous EAAS courses, and to whom we are sincerely grateful.
